About Us

Set in the bucolic village of Culverden, Wilkes and Co. is a boutique hair salon that offers specialist hair cutting, colouring and styling and makeup for special occasions; we also have Wilkes & Co. espresso bar open Monday - Friday, also offers catering.

Weddings are as big a deal for us as they are for our beautiful brides. We take great pleasure in providing full hair and make-up services for bridal parties for the big day. We are available for weddings in Hanmer Springs and the surrounding area and will travel to you on the day.

Our experienced senior stylists make it their mission to stay at the forefront of fashion and hair trends. In fact, salon proprietor Hannah Wilkes is the creative force behind vanguard Christchurch salon, Felix Culpa, which was a finalist for New Zealand Hairdresser of the Year and New Zealand Salon of the Year 2016, where Hannah won the L’Oreal Colour Award. We bring that same level of skill and service to our clients at Wilkes and Co.
